A practical workshop split over 2 sessions.
First session to introduce beginners to the basic structure of a Woven Herringbone foundation row and interlacing of same.
If you wish, please bring a large eyed tapestry or chenille needle (size 22 or larger), a piece of fabric (minimum of 5 x 15 cm), 3 or more metres of contrasting knitting cotton, and, if possible an embroidery ring
All these things will be supplied to the first 10 attendees at no cost for basic supplies other than embroidery rings offered at cost.
Second session on using the basic structure of a "Woven Herringbone foundation row and interlacing" as an insertion stitch between two hemmed edges.
If you wish, please bring a large eyed tapestry needle (size 22 or larger), 2 pieces of fabric (minimum of 5 x 15 cm) each hemmed on one long edge, a piece of graph paper and interfacing (minimum of 5 x 15 cm), 3 or more metres of contrasting knitting cotton, and, if possible an embroidery ring
All these things will be supplied to the first 10 attendees at no cost for basic supplies other than embroidery rings offered at cost.
