Use of the Off-Hand

Fencers are often taught the basics of using their off-hand to accompany the sword, but do not realise the full potential of their spare hand as a parrying device. This class looks at how to use your hand to control your opponent’s sword from tip to guard, separate to and in partnership with your own sword.
Class is about an hour and useful for beginners and intermediate students. Bring a sword and gloves, plus eye protection is strongly recommended.
