Mistress Katherina Weyssin von Regenspurk and Master William de Cameron

We'll practice some renaissance consort music, on recorder and then on crumhorn. We'll play from modern notation (but have facsimile available for anyone who'd like to give it a go in white mensural notation).

If this session goes well, and people are keen, we might aim for a theatre piece!

To participate, you need to be able to:

  1. play a recorder (any size) and know the fingering well
  2. read music fluently
  3. have tried to play a crumhorn, at least once (no need to be expert!)

There will be opportunities to try a crumhorn and get the basics in our "Crumhorn have-a-go" class at 1pm on Wednesday. If you can't attend that, please do visit William and Katherina in the Ildhafn campsite to express interest in this session.
