There is no right or wrong way to organize an event or a feast. Each kingdom has a usual way they do it and it varies a lot from area to area. From lunch taverns to day boards to processions to volunteer-cooked huge feasts of 30+ dishes to catered hotel meals to no meals at all, from vigils to writs, and what the heck is an 'eric’? Come tell me about your feasts and events and I’ll tell you how I've seen several other kingdoms do theirs. Let’s share ideas!
Gwynnyd has organized many events in the Middle Kingdom, stolen, er, borrowed event/feast ideas from other kingdoms, and is eager to share and learn. All are welcome.
