The Canterbury Faire Ball

For many, one of the highlights of Canterbury Faire every year is the chance to dress up in one's finery and dance the night away to the glorious (mostly) live music!

If you like to Pavane, or Galliard, then this is the place for you.

This year's ball list is now available, and this year

Lord Duarte de la Guitarra, The Honourable Lowrens Wilyamson or Lady Enith verch Gwilim

will be your Maestros de Ballo.

Village Dance

Come along for some casual dancing in the Half-Circle Glade.
It will be simple dances that beginners and new people will be able to do and enjoy!

We are running to the theme of visa versa, so we encourage people to wear garb of the opposite gender.

There will be snack food and cordials available.

All are welcome whether you dance or not!!!

Il Conto del’ Orco

Il Conto del’ Orco, being taught by Lady Enith.

This is one of the more elaborate dances being done at Thursday night's ball, so this practice is a good chance for those who are familiar with it (or learn very fast) to come along and polish your performance.
